Poilievre’s idea to amend Criminal Code wouldn’t help Canadians acting in self-defence, law experts say

Maybe it’s not a good article but I don’t see where it explains how this would make things worse for people acting in self defence.

They explain why they feel the current system is adequate and they explain that increased protections could cause problems (for other people) but they don’t say anything that seems to match what the headline implies.
