I’ve supported military action against Maduro for a long time, mainly because I just don’t see any way out of the Venezuela’s permanent crisis unless him and PSUV are forced from power. But I don’t trust this administration not to cock it up.

I just want to note that a despotic tyrant fighting crime or even fighting other tyrants does not make them any better. It just means they’re doing something else with their power for the moment that they fully intend to wield against you and your family in the future.
This is to preempt any “woah based” or “crime is actually bad” commentary. I agree crime is bad. It doesn’t mean you should give credit to a Tyrant for fighting it. Tyranny is a crime in and of itself. The President is a felon committing heinous crimes every day. Marco Rubio has arguably already engaged in actions that we prosecuted people for at the Geneva Convention. Trump was best friends with Epstein and is covering up the crimes of his accomplices every day with the help of the DOJ. Trump is deploying the military against Americans in our own cities.
