Seems like the hammer is really falling down on the Canadian labour market now (if it wasn’t already). A year’s long problem of poor productivity combined with a a recent surge in economic uncertainty.
Completely anecdotal, but I’ve seen a lot of layoffs among my peers in the finance sector here in Canada.

This is the long-term goal of Trump’s tariffs. The global uncertainty and economic turbulence he’s created is not stopping anytime soon.
They’re basically trying to recreate the 2008 Global crash. And it’s likely to work. Because the economic and financial uncertainties throughout the world are immense right now.
That combined with the looming AI bubble that’s about to pop in everyone’s faces…… It’s going to get so much worse.
