As much as I hate Modi alienating India was such an own goal, but never understood this meme that Russia was ever going to become an ally of the west to contain China, we even saw a German general neck deep in that wishful thinking, the russians dont even seem to care about the gigantic fetish the western far right has for putinism, they still hate them to guts.
