      Personal political Theory idea of mine, while we can say “rising tide floats all boats” or “the greatest era of prosperity”: you can’t feel like you’re middle class without a lower class by definition.

      And if the middle class can’t have signals to demonstrate that they’re in fact middle class, when the lower class can get counterfeit luxury goods to show off to saturate social media, can refinance and pawn for the latest iPhone, and the death of the third space, the old boys network and the clubroom and the yacht club visibly because accessibility/ exclusivity, and the tennis/golf club… How does one feel it distinguish themselves as middle class?

      Hence, Maga and general digital age populism or online “socialists” because they feel poorer and paycheck to paycheck while more people online act and look visibly and conspicuously richer and flaunting wealth and travel and luxury hotels and cars. When the lower class can act, look or show off or pretend to live the lifestyle of the middle or even lower upper class.

      > China continued its high-growth energy storage market expansion in July 2025, with 1,556 new energy storage-related projects filed for registration, according to the Energy Storage Application Branch (CESA) of the China Industrial Association of Power Sources. Of these, 1,468 were project applications accounting for around 53.8 GW/139.6 GWh in cumulative capacity. Another 88 filings were related to production and manufacturing initiatives.
