    Well at least we’re not upsetting the people who control the dissemination of information with an unrealistic and unworkable proposal just to try to win voters who were already voting for you or not voting at all. 

    Because that would be bad.

    I dunno. It does strike me as a policy that’s unwieldy if not impossible to implement, but with assholes like Musk and Andreesen so vocally against it, there’s got to be some potential in it.

    It really is absurd that middle class W-2 workers have a much higher effective tax rate than carried interest centomillionaires, and the cost basis reset for heirs is a big tell on who’s been writing our tax code.
