The Salt Lake Tribune – Images rapidly circulated online Wednesday showing police escorting an older man away after the fatal shooting of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk – and many Utahns recognized him as occasionally ubiquitous activist George Zinn, 71.

Utah state law enforcement officials late
Wednesday said he was taken into custody on suspicion of obstruction of justice and ultimately released. Another person was also detained in connection with the shooting but was later released as well after law enforcement interrogation, Utah Department of Public Safety confirmed in a news release.

“There is an ongoing investigation and manhunt for the shooter,” according to the release.

Highly effective. News reports were even jumping the gun saying he was the suspect. How much time did law enforcement waste on this guy while the perp out away?

The perp probably blended in with the crowds running away from the chaos.

In the chaotic aftermath of Charlie Kirk’s fatal shooting, the arrest of two individuals, one wielding a pellet gun, and the other claiming he was the shooter is emerging a glaring red flag in what seems to be a meticulously planned misdirection. These so-called “decoy shooters” were quickly detained amid the panic of 3,000 fleeing attendees, were released just hours later by authorities, who sheepishly admitted the pair had “no current ties” to the crime. Giving the real assassin spotted on a rooftop 100-200 yards away, the precious minutes to pack up a sniper rifle and slip away.

    4. The shooter was 100% long gone before that second arrest.

The first arrest was just some dumb fuck claiming to have done it.

It can’t be that hard to blend in with a crowd of 1000+ people.

I am not special forces, I am not a Marine, I’m not a sniper or even law enforcement of any kind, but even I know you can’t shoot 200+ yards with a pellet gun.
