I simply don’t see how Chinese EVs being sold in Canada will completely destroy our auto industry; which isn’t even really ours because it’s 100% foreign corporations setting up branch plants
I do just want a Zeekr 007 GT so I can slam it and create the superperformance wagon Volvo are too cowardly to make, but I just don’t see the true harm. For example, Chinese cars are sold relatively freely in the UK, and they still have car manufacturing. Australian car manufacturing died years before the Chinese even arrived, so it’s not like they’re some harbingers
