Since the advent of social media people have been fired for posting insane shit under their own name. If I went on my personal Facebook and posted a bunch of Pro-Hitler shit, I would probably get fired and deservedly so bc I’m a liability for my employer

    2. Free speech doesn’t mean free of consequences! You can say whatever you’d like but your job can fire you and people can sue you.

Rolling Stone’s two-faced stance on cancel culture screams calculated bias. Their 2023 piece hails it as a noble tool to shut down folks like J.K. Rowling, but by 2025, they’re whining about people losing jobs for dissing Charlie Kirk, their conservative poster boy. This ain’t just hypocrisy—it’s a straight-up strategy. They swing cancel culture like a club to enforce their progressive gospel, then play victim when the mob bites back. It’s a dirty double game, exposing Rolling Stone as schemers pulling strings to shape the narrative while pretending to be fair.

    4. I said it when people were getting cancelled over George Floyd. I’ll say it again. It’s bullshit. Free speech is an idea, not a law. If you’re okay with censorship now, you’re okay with the free suppression of ideas.

If you think it’s okay, you are not in favor of free speech. If you’re doing it to own the libs, you care more about partisan politics than any sort of real values.

    5. I’m not defending cancel culture in any way, shape, or form. But the left article seems to be about holding those **in power** accountable and the other is about regular Joe schmoes getting canned for expressing opinions. I wouldn’t consider that very hypocritical.
