This article has been making it’s rounds and I feel like it is stretching their point a bit. It’s using the “current policy” trend line as if we aren’t in an incredibly reactionary moment. The previous American administration passed the largest climate bill in history and the current one tried to erase everything it did. If it wasn’t lib coded, we wouldn’t be worrying about it right now.
I would be extremely wary of anything based on that extrapolation. People don’t have demands fossil fuels, they demand energy whether it be dirty or green.
Clean energy is young and has plenty of room to grow while fossil fuels are much more mature. Even in this current space, it makes more sense to invest in renewables.
