Yes I do. I said this exact same thing to someone when I first heard the news. I think Vance ordered the hit, personally. Republicans would probably have voted for Charlie over Vance in the next election cycle if he decided to run.

Or, the shooter missed and happened to hit his throat. It is very likely that the Shooter was aiming for his head and didn’t account for the bullet drop across the distance.

But he wasn’t shot in the throat. He was shot in the chest and the bullet hit a plate in his bullet proof vest and deflected at least some of the bullet fragment into his neck. There’s a video angle taken from his left side where you can see the initial impact was clearly on his chest.
