I worry not only about the macro issue, but specifically how the new, richer Democratic base is willing to write the two tier system off because they assume it’s only rural voters affected and “haha go code”.
Because one of the big problems now is that we’re losing lower income, often minority voters in blue states who are getting crushed by cost of living.
We’re in a shit ton of trouble- and are probably morally in the wrong, albeit not compared to Republicans- if we just keep assuming no one has anything to be upset about economically.
