My understanding of the law had been that they couldn’t require parking spaces for the new ADUs, not that they could take away existing spots. I do feel for these people, because Koreatown is the hardest neighborhood to park in LA. And while I absolutely support building transit and making neighborhoods more walkable, this isn’t New York or Chicago. Living without a car here is tough proposition for most working people.

Koreatown is actually the densest area in the US outside of New York (using 3km circles). Not at all what you’d think of when it comes to SoCal
