A bomb threat was reported at the residence of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the current U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services, on September 19, 2025. Authorities are actively securing the scene and conducting a search to clear the area. No injuries or arrests have been reported at this time, and the situation appears to be ongoing.
The threat was called in earlier this evening (around 7:30-8:00 PM ET) to Kennedy's home in Washington, D.C. (or a nearby secure residence, given his Secret Service protection). RFK was reported not to be home at this time.
Local law enforcement and federal agents, including the Secret Service, have responded. The perimeter has been locked down, and bomb-sniffing dogs and explosive ordnance disposal teams are on site.
