This is turning out to be one of those issues like JFK or 911. I don't think the public will ever really know what happened. We are capable however of knowing what didnt happen. I know that Charlie's neck didn't stop a 30-06 round. It's not possible. They might as well be saying that monkeys flew out of Charlie's butt and shot him. Either case is just as unbelievable as the other. I have experience with the 30-06 and have hunted with them. The first whitetail I ever shot was with a 30-06. I was aiming at the middle of its chest and my shot went high and I hit it in the spine. The shot went all the way through the spine and out the other side of the deer. When my dad & I skinned the deer pieces of spine the size of pea gravel were coming out of the exit wound. There is no way Charlie's neck stopped a 30-06 round. Sorry. It looks like the right wing is trying to deify Charlie. At this rate they will be recommending him for sainthood any day now. They are absolutely taking it too far. I saw on Fox [news] where a doctor is now saying that Charlie had magic bones in his neck that could indeed stop 30-06 rounds. LOL! He even referred to him as the "man of steel". Wow! What do y'all think about it? No one in here is gullible enough to fall for that load of bull are they?

My first thought is that i wonder how much money he was offered or what future position he was promised to make that claim
