U.S. preparing options for military strikes on drug targets inside Venezuela, sources say

I’m surprised that Trump didn’t just use protecting Guyana as a justification/pretext instead of drug cartels? Even other war mongers try to **at least** come up with a reasonable sounding pretext (doesn’t have to be true) for military action against another state than a drug cartel.
