If anything good came out of this event, it’s that I can’t imagine the top brass playing along if Trump does anything illegal after the absolute embarrassment he put on yesterday. imagine risking your life and career for this nonce
If you haven’t watched, it might be worth doing so. I watched because it was job-adjacent for me. I’ve watched plenty of Trump speeches before. He’s always jumped from topic to topic, but I thought this was noticeably worse than usual in terms of mindless meandering. It left me seriously thinking he might be in some sort of real cognitive decline. I mean, not that I ever thought he was firing on all cylinders, but you know what I mean..
