SS: Bike theft is now legal in the UK, this country has gone completely mad. The excuse is that if police officers are spending time watching cameras and investigating bike theft they won’t have time to investigate real crime. Like that Facebook/Reddit post that offended your neighbor smh

It’s literally all about saving money. Instead of recruiting and funding more police, the government will reduce other crimes by reallocating police resources from decriminalised activities, then frame it as a big win for them come the next election.
