No clue how this will end up but is genuinely a good step forward. Democracy is not built on a day and hopefully this is a positive step. that they are able to have a Syrian Jewish man as a candidate and additionally have around 20% of the candidates be women is promising. We will see how Syrian democracy develops but this article has me optimistic
