How is this possible? I’ve never heard of anything like it? Hopefully this website is allowed here.
If the Trump judgement was in violation of the 8th Amendment, then Alex Jones’s judgement is also in violation of the 8th Amendment.
Did he deserve to lose the lawsuit? Sure, public figure says crazy shit, that’s fair. Does he deserve this completely bogus 1.4 billion dollar judgment? Absolutely not…anyone defending the amount is absolutely crazy. How anyone can justify that as appropriate compensation is beyond me.

Why didn’t we just sue Alex Jones for 40 trillion dollars and just pay off the debt since we are just making up wild fines that have no basis in reality.
Some of y’all are too focused on the amount of the judgement, and ignoring the statement that the judgement makes.
Of course the amount is absurd and ridiculous, as was his behavior for years regarding the Sandy Hook shooting. He literally could have stopped anytime he wanted to. But, he played the fuck around and find out game for so long, that he really fucking found out.
He’s a disgusting, morally corrupt sack of shit, and deserves whatever he gets.
