President Donald Trump on Wednesday confirmed he had authorized CIA action in Venezuela, and indicated his administration is exploring land strikes inside the South American country.
What is really going on? Venezuela is not one of the top sources of illicit drugs than enter the U.S.. Opioids (fentanyl) come from China, India, and Afghanistan. Cocaine from Columbia, Bolivia, Mexico.
