There seems to be new packaging in the UK that tracks your carbon allowance when consuming goods. Now think about how they’ll keep track of your carbon allowance in the future. They’ll need to ensure you’re not eating too much meat, flying too often, or traveling by car excessively.

To do this, they’ll need a system that monitors all your activities to make sure you don’t exceed your allowance. And if you do, they could limit your ability to travel, eat, or make purchases.

Your digital ID would be linked to all aspects of your life—your bank transactions, phone usage, TV time, EV travel distance, and more.

Funny how everything seems to fall perfectly into place, isn’t it?

What a load of shit. To demonstrate, does a 5′ female have the same dietary allotment as a 6’2″ male? Does a 20 year have the same dietary allotment as an 80 year old?

All I see is a push for corrupt “science”.

    2. Is this one specific brand or are they rolling this out on all packaging in the UK?

So how do you enforce this in all seriousness?

Some people buy bulk which would be over the 100% of a day worth of food… so you go to the grocery store and are limited to items that add up to 100% of your weekly allowance? How would they know what you’re actually consuming at your house on a daily basis? It seems infeasible. Seems like a stupid marketing gimmick to try to play on the super green crowd.
