[South Africa] The six-monthly anti-HIV jab could be in 360 clinics by February. Who should get the first doses?

This article provides a detailed plan and phase timeline for the South African government’s deployment of the drug Lencapavir in public hospitals.

I am posting it because this sub generally loves public health news, and cares especially about HIV. Since the end of PEPFAR, there have been some setbacks, but there is also progress.

We are months away from throwing the first swing in the final round of the fight against HIV. The data we will collect in the next year or two will probably give us a good idea of what it will take to end HIV once and for all.
