The optimist in me hopes that with nuclear weapons testing, the global public will be reminded that nukes exist, and that will revitalize nuclear arms control.
But it’s probably just going to start a new nuclear arms race.

Nukes are terrifying. Testing them like this signals a man who sees them as a cool thing to act strong with, rather than, you know, the thing that could end the world. Awful, stupid president.
