However much we might not like it to be true, what schools like Harvard decide to do as academic policy has a lot of influence over the rest of higher education in the US (and arguably elsewhere, too).
Feels like there’s a weird line between “we talk about Harvard too much” and “we need to talk about Harvard more” and I don’t know where it is.

As someone actively in college who is highly academically motivated, the thing with grades that pisses me off is the inconsistency. You can have the same class with 2 or 3 different professors, and depending on your section, the same quality of work will get you an A or a C.
