So everyone’s talking about AI replacing jobs, but almost nobody is talking about the psychological shift happening underneath it. And honestly, that part feels way more engineered than the “robots taking your job” part.
These new humanoid robots Optimus, NEO, Unitree H2, F03 are the
first things designed to look human enough that we instinctively treat them
like beings, but programmed to obey like objects. That mix isn’t random it’s a
psychological blueprint.
Historically, whenever you introduce a compliant household “being,” the behaviour of the people within it changes. And the early research already shows that interacting with
something that can’t push back literally rewires us empathy drops, tolerance
for unfairness drops, and entitlement rises. Basically, people get used to bullying
real fast.
And if you think about it society has been stripping normal people of power for years financially, politically, socially. And right as that’s happening, suddenly we’re being handed these humanoid servants that exist solely to obey. No rights, no resistance, no complexity. It’s like a pressure valve or a chew toy for a dog! Feels like we’re being sleepwalked into accepting hierarchy again.
A society where a few people have all the real power, and the rest of us feel powerless… unless we’re given our own tiny “underclass” of artificial beings to boss around so we don’t
question the real structure above us.
It’s interesting how fast people justify the dynamic just because the servant isn’t human back in the old days they said something similar. I’m not saying robots deserve rights or that we’re oppressing machines but I’m saying the dynamic will change us, and probably in the exact direction certain people would prefer: obedient upward, dominant downward.
We spent centuries trying to abolish slavery and rigid class systems… and here we are, basically reintroducing the psychology of it but with a silicon faceplate.
While these robots are still dumb, no one cares but once they get good at acting human some people are going to feel seriously uncomfortable with the setup.
And the ones who don’t feel uncomfortable? Well, that will be very telling wont it.

we’re already slaves. banks lend us money that never existed and we work our whole lives trying to pay it back to them with interest.
Nah, but TSA is being conditioned to be slaves.
Humanoid robots exist because it is easier to build robots to exist in a world built for humans than to get humans to adapt to a world built for robots.
The people that can afford a robotic servant already use human servants. It’s not like we’ll be getting one, we’re the servants.
