I wish they would take the money and allocate it to finding out whether the tunnels under the pyramids are the Hall of Records or not.

you shouldn’t be surprised. everything anti-biblical is rooted in Egypt. doen’t make it inherently evil, just different to Moses’ tribe. if you’re a bible believer, can well imagine you might be a little on edge.
personally, i see more good in Ma’at than i do in anything related to YHWH, the Canaanite weather god. some Hebraic mythology draws from Egyptian influence, amongst others, Assyrian, Greek, Sumerian.
anything different to Hebrew thinking/belief was codified as evil. ‘Sin’ was a Babylonian weather god originally. came to represent wrong acts. ‘Ra’ in Hebrew means ‘evil’. this is how the words and ideals came to be, what ‘we’ do is good, what others do is bad. and a lot was propagansided.and the bible is very one-sided.
no, i didn’t watch. not been out to Egypt for 15 years or so. the original Cairo museum was amazing, as were the temples, pyramids and tombs. hope they’ve unearthed a lot of the artefact from the old museum’s vaults, were rumours there was so much unrcorded stuff down there.
