“Judge Tony Graf Jr. approved the virtual/no-video setup to protect Robinson’s right to a fair trial (6th Amendment)”

“Robinson spoke only briefly during the appearance, in which he appeared remotely from jail and did not show his face.”

So zero evidence the guy is even alive.

Also, his lawyer was picked by Greg Skordas, a longstanding Utah County Attorney and currently running to be Attorney General. Which makes zero sense.

Top lawyers in the country offering services pro-bono have been ignored. His lawyer Kathryn Nester, of last 5 murder trials had her client plead guilty 4 times. This stinks.

    1. There are other more qualified lawyers willing to take the case pro bono but they need to go through one of the big local firms (iirc they were from NYC and hadn’t passed the Utah bar). None were willing to assist. They have to go through this Skordas dude, everyone keeps telling the “Skordas is fininding counsel.” Like, WTF is he and why did he inject himself in this trial?

Forgot to mention Judge Tony F. Graf Jr. was appointed to Utah’s Fourth District Court on May 2, 2025
