I know little about back then, but I feel like, compared to the last decade, the term "world peace" was much closer back then.
But of course, corrupt people wanted to slowly divide people (for example black vs white)
Apparently Martin Luther king isn't this good guy everyone thinks he was. Very much behind causing this divide, with his speeches.
Remember the BLM riots, I hate to say it but I felt like there was ulterior motives behind it. all it really did was allow people to steal and vandilise, and cause people to become more aware of colour, not less. Didn't help unity in any way.
Apparently in the 1950s, US Democrats and Republicans were less divided. Imagine today if they were still like that.
USA has a high global impact on other countries, so the more collaborative their political parties are, the better the world is.
Honestly it's sad to imagine how good things would be today if around the world people were more united. Isn't that what humanity was trying to do?
