It’s honestly been so long since I played that game I forget the details of the plot- might have to replay it. I do remember enjoying it, thought it was actually a decent ending to the trilogy

I would say yes I am a fan of Bioshock but the first 2 more than Infinite.

It’s been a super long time since I played that game. But wasn’t the whole point that the society was dystopian and racist under the Comstock guy? Maybe it wasn’t handled as well as I remember though

Populists when a game portrays killing civilians as bad 😤
Also in fairness wasn’t Fitzroy pretending to kill the kid because the twins asked her to, it’s been a while since I played the dlc but I think that was a plot point

It’s a good game, there’s a bunch of improvements to the AI and it shows, mostly in them being able to have way more enemies on screen than they ever did in BS 1/2.
I generally liked the plot and thought that it made a good mirror to Rapture. The whole ‘tears’ thing made sense to connect it to the world of Rapture (particularly in the DLC) buuuuuut it was silly to base so much of the plot on it. But honestly ultimately for me the environment was nowhere near as good (IMO) as BS1/2. The environmental storytelling is a lot less and there’s a lot more ‘press here to learn history’ type stuff.

More of a Andrew Ryan fan.
