Why on earth should people trust Nigel Farage when his lifelong dream of leaving the EU turned out to be such a disaster? These reactionaries have gotten largely the politics they wanted from 2010-2024, it’s not our fault it all turned out to be shit.

I think it was Peter Kellner, the pollster, who recently argued that a major part of this shift is that the majority for Brexit has been lost because millions of leave voters have died, while a few million more people have reached voting age, further pushing the UK toward a remain/rejoin position.
