Trump’s Iran War Is Burning Through US Weapons Stockpiles, Raising Concerns From Ukraine to Taiwan: Iran War Burning Through Crucial U.S. Weapons Stockpiles | TIME Magazine
From Washington, D.C. to Ukraine to Taiwan, there’s growing concern that the U.S. war in Iran is depleting stocks of sophisticated weapons systems that protect American bases, ships and allies around the globe from missile attacks. Senior U.S. officials have acknowledged the problem while downplaying the severity of the situation.

Now why would the US’s greatest ally force it into this position with the whole world posturing for WWIII?
Because that is not an ally.
Brilliant plan though.

The Military Industrial Complex and their shareholders thank you greatly for your fearmongering.
If you really think we’re “low on ammo” please do as that conglomerate hopes and prays — lobby your congressional leaders for an even bigger spending budget, regardless of multiple audit failures in the recent, and distant past.

I remember when I was in the military we had suddenly got word we were going to have to change missions and head to a different port to do a whole different job. We were resupplied at sea with everything we needed for that new tasking. I remember talking to one of the sailors and he said “yeah, we have ships full of equipment all over the oceans, we pretty much have entire wars just floating around waiting.” It just blew my mind how quickly we could get set up for a new tasking.
What happened to all that stuff? Part of me thinks we’re trying to appear weaker than we are but I’m not sure anymore.
