It would still me more operationally successful than Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, since Ukraine was right next door to them. That’d be like the US invading Mexico and getting stopped before Monterrey.

An Iranian drone boat just sunk the Roosevelt, the Strait is still closed, and Iran is receiving squadrons of J-10 fighters that have forced America to use cruise missiles and stand off weapons exclusively, as fast as they come off the factory floor.
