Why do we say “don’t trust the media” but then trust everything they publish about space?

ss – Let’s be honest most people here don’t trust a word mainstream outlets say.

Bias, narratives, agendas that’s the general view.

But then the same outlets all push content about NASA and space and suddenly that’s treated as unquestionable. Any skepticism gets shut down straight away.

If the mindset is “question everything,” shouldn’t that apply across the board?

Why is it fine to challenge politics, news, and institutions but not space-related claims?

People will defend it instantly rather than even consider it might be off.

I mean, I haven’t had time to get out there to verify anything but I’ll put it on my weekend to-do list right after changing all my dead Ring batteries.

  3. I think it’s better to say “Critique and fact-check the media” rather than “Don’t trust the media”

Not everything they say is false.

You just need to have a critical mind.

  4. All those media outlets posted about the Esptein files. Therefore Epstein is actually innocent and nothing happened on his islands. Correct?

  5. The only conspiracy here is someone attempting to blame the readers for the lies of the MSM.

News from NASA is a lot more reliable than news from the White House, under any administration to be fair
