In fiscal year 2025, the U.S. federal government collected approximately $5.23 trillion in total revenue. When combined with an estimated $2.21 trillion in state and local tax revenue for the same period, Americans paid a total of roughly $7.44 trillion in taxes to all levels of government.
Pro-Israel lobbying groups, led by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), have spent over $100 million in the 2024 election cycle, making it one of the largest outside spending forces in the election.
