you will not trick me into learning what hasan piker’s einstein story is

  2. Yes, this is one of the bizarre myths I’ve seen. Einstein called Israel’s founding a “beautiful dream” and nearly became the first president

Yes, he despised the right wing militias and would quite likely hate Bibi+be very much opposed to the post 67 occupations but he was a very much a believer in Zionism.

  3. > Einstein, in Piker’s account, assailed the Israeli project from the start: He saw “the violence that the early Zionist brigades were engaging in” before “the IDF existed, before Israel existed,” and “wrote about what Zionism was turning into, and he warned that what he was seeing was exactly what the Nazis were doing.”

Liar or stupid? I guess I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t believe Labor Zionism was a real thing.

Can we stop taking podcasters seriously for Pete’s sake??

First Charlie Kink and now this loser. These people just blurt out anything under the sun and call it “freedom of speech” and all that shit. Not that they shouldn’t, but journalists should stop pretending that the likes of Joe Rogan and these guys are the modern-day equivalents of Greek philosophers and shit.

What’s the point of any of this? Are people really trying to argue that Israel isn’t committing atrocities, war crimes, and ethnic cleansing? Who cares what Einstein thinks?
