Did they do one on Will there ever be another one? How can there be? It’s supposed to be a light-hearted event where the President can be skewered as he (whichever one is in office), richly deserves, no doubt. From now on it’s the Correspondence Dinner, so sad, we remember that time that Donald Trump had a not really a close call “assassination attempt”. He’s got his name on everything and now this too. He is linked evermore to this, when, apparently, they hadn’t even gotten to the appetizer round and no one was ever going to get a single wise-crack in.
