The most disturbing part to me about her “brand” is her target demographic are young girls.
No one cares about Sabrina carpenter irl, not saying that to be mean but I can guarantee she has a very specific group of people who think about her…and I’m pretty sure pedophiles are too busy trying to convince redditors they’re victims on controversial opinion subs, they aren’t squinting at a grown woman trying to see a kid.
I was thinking about this today, and it turned into a bit of a thought experiment testing the limits of “identify as….” proponents.
Let’s say Sabrina is identifying as a sexy child. Publicly. For profit.

In our current culture, in which kids who identify as cats at school are given accommodations to live out their chosen identities (for example), what does it mean when a woman chooses to identify publicly and commercially as a sexualized minor (which is obviously against the law)?
