Imho, the powers that be know that the rule of pro-open-borders parties is nearing its end across the Western world and therefore try to ship in as many migrants as possible while they still can. It’s what Labour is doing in the UK, it’s what Biden did, it’s also what Sanchez recently did in Spain.
