    preceding months. The index for food increased 0.2 percent in July, as it did in June. The food away from
    home index rose 0.2 percent over the month, and the food at home index increased 0.1 percent.

  2. Seems like a good, but not incredible report. Housing costs are still the biggest driver of inflation, which the fed isn’t helping by keeping rates high, and insurance costs continue to rise.

    Sub 3% headline is nice, we should see a bigger drop in the next two months as the Sept and Oct prints were pretty high last year.
