If you want to build units people will want to buy to live in you are taking the path of most resistance to accomplish that through towers and the most modest plex housing possible

Not a concern for renters, but as a buyer I feel like the biggest concern is how the condo management. I live in an old condo and our fees are low despite us constantly having to fix elevators and boilers and stuff and our fees include the utilities and water. Mind you our condo is mostly residents owners and it seems like the careful budgeting is accepted by all. I do fear, rational or irrationally, the newer stock of condos which have the more landlord owner types are at risk of random condo fee increases. Really the only big issue is our old design I think basically makes it impossible to upgrade our underground parking lot to support EV charging

Canada: Our housing prices are so high that we are going through a national panic and are willing to dramatically cut immigration, which has been a foundational part of the image of a modern Canada.
If you’re from Vancouver and care about housing, you know this charlatan Douglas Todd. Don’t help him with the courtesy of a click, its only gonna make you mad.
