I think he was most likely intertwined with the occult. It seems that whole club is to some degree. I think epstein was a tool for something far far greater though so hard to say what kind of role he had in the occult. Maybe it was just blackmail, maybe he was a servant or initiator for some weird dark stuff that grants power(other than blackmail).

I think that entire club and type of person absolutely LOVES the fact that people come up with crazy reasons for their sick fantasies. Like it makes them feel as though they are extra alluring and mysterious when they’re just sick and disgusting with enough money to be as sick and disgusting as possible. Nothing satisfies, they’re never satiated. And when they google themselves they see people going back and forth about what gods they must worship or what rituals they must have performed.
