    Pakistan has placed a $1.5 billion deal for weapons and jets on hold after Saudi Arabia indicated it would no longer be financing the deal. This could have sharp implications in Sudan where the fighting has caused the worst humanitarian crisis in the world at the moment.

    I… don’t understand this ngl. Is it because Saudi doesn’t want to be funding the SAF while it is still at war with Iran? I was of the understanding that Saudi was generally siding with the SAF as a counterweight to UAE support for the RSF. What’s happening here?
