Donald Trump was evacuated from the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner after gunshots were heard inside the Washington Hilton.
The president was ushered away from the dais on Saturday evening, and attendees took cover under tables in the ballroom.
A shooter has been confirmed as dead.
A number of top administration officials were in attendance, including Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. Trump was seated on the dais when shots were heard.

So far, seems like the Independent/Mediate/CNBC said gunshots while Politico said unspecified threat though that article said “several loud bangs”
