If he gets elected he will be the 38th worst person in the chamber. I’m not thrilled it’s going to be him but at this point it’s whatever. At least he’s not a republican

why is this all happening after the primary is all but over. The Mills campaign really half assed this thing

    I don’t have a WaPo subscription

Is there anything in here that he could go to jail for, or is he just stupid and weird?

I’m glad I don’t live in Maine so I don’t have to have some crisis of conscience about being no better than republicans that’s all I can say.

That being said, it was Trump who opened the door to this shit with the “I ain’t saying he’s a saint but…” bullshit

The fact there are WaPo and NYT hit pieces coming out now says more about them than this does about him.

The biggest fear, which I feel like nobody is acknowledging, is that we have literally zero guarantee that this guy will vote with democrats in the senate.

People think that worst case scenario he’s Fetterman, but it can be so much worse.

  7. Because the senate is one of the highest offices in the US and it shouldn’t be the first office people are elected to?

  8. If Platner was the exact same dude only he was a valueless MAGA shill, the press wouldn’t waste time writing about him. But he blames our problems on the rich instead of on immigrants, so he gets to be the main character of the election.
