Possible unpopular opinion here, but it does make sense to restrict these in the same way we already restrict a lot of things for national security reasons. Especially given how AI can be weaponized.

Submission statement: same as the [Claude Fable restriction](https://www.reddit.com/r/neoliberal/comments/1u4d65m/scoop_trump_admin_blocks_foreign_access_to/) earlier, this is pretty severe US government interference into the tech sector.
