I was watching the movie The Matrix and realised we have already come to the prediction of AI, and now companies are looking at solar powering them, just as Morpheus stated.
AI also does control the internet now, mostly through bots and algorithms. It's videos and photos dominate the internet and real art just got more suppressed in the mud.
Jerusalem. No wonder the Jews wanted it so badly. No wonder they protect it so badly. On the surface state they house and protect criminals, who knows during The Matrix era if it arrives, they'll house the rich underground? They don't want a Muslim state like Palestine to take Jerusalem for themselves; the Sharia dudes will destroy it! No more will there be a safe spot for humanity! Or…the rich sector of humanity?

My model of the future say the same, we will first see a last standing city, underground, and after that, pure simulation, the whole city turned into a server where everyone will upload their encoded consciousness.
There no more limits, millions of years of torture becomes a possibility and Lucifer’s power has no limit, except time. Matrix will one day run out of maintenance or memory and will collapse.
Eternity will remain a divine gift.
