Austrian economics’ main advantage is being simple and definitive enough to be approachable for non-ecnomists with ideological dispositions.
It’s basically the economics version of freudianism.. Austrian psychology. More philosophy than anything else.

I would say Keynesianism but the government doesn’t raise taxes at the good times so i think Keynesianism does not work in effect. Similar to how things such as communism and socialism will never work in effect.

We’re all keynesians now. It has been absorbed into mainstream economics. You can be a Keynesian and still believe that the government can generate “too much” inflation

The neoclassical model is a modified Keynesian model, with applied natural experiments and means testing.

New Keynesian (as opposed to old Keynesian econ) tempered by the public choice inputs from Austrian economics.
